When The Spring arrives, the Vietnamese people, wherever they are, will go back to family and they are all thrilled and excited with Tet Holiday.
Tet starts on the first day of the first lunar month and is the first day of the new year (according to the lunar calendar). Saigon people prepare for Tet by cleaning, washing and painting their houses because they want to welcome Tet with Luck (everything old is considered unlucky).
In recent year, HCM City’s People Committee conducts Tet Holiday on Streets (From Le Loi to Nguyen Hue Street). Nguyen Hue street will become “Flower Street” in Tet Holiday
